Residential development located, Moss Bank, St Helens

Unit3 are an architectural design practice that specialise in new build residential homes and developer housing estates. In 2018 the practice designed a new £3.4m residential development located in Moss Bank, St Helens for the Oakwood Group. The project involved the provision of 16 new build traditional houses ranging between 2 and 4 beds. The various house types included a number of traditional details and local materials to blend in with the surrounding vernacular.

The houses were located on a restrictive sloping site – previously occupied by a derelict public house and bowling green – and were arranged around a protected old oak tree which become a key feature of the development.

Set in a semi-rural location, yet just a short hop to the A580 East Lancs Rd, is this stunning new development. The collection of homes were designed and built for those who love the outdoor views and appreciate the beautiful indoors. The Oaks is located to the south of Billinge, a popular village with access to countryside walks, motorway network and extremely well regarded schools.
